I tend to use AF my my cameras a lot. I just went over to Nikon and I have been drawn to some of these awesome older AIS lenses. If you use one of the AIS lenses on the D700 does it confirms AF?
I really hope it does because this huge viewfinder is just begging for some goof ole MF Glass.
Also on my last camera I had an option to set up the way it responded to MF. I would set it to fire as soon as focus was achieved. I would hold down the shutter button fully and the camera woudl fire off as soon as focus was confirmed. If this is an option with this camera please let em know how I set it up. Thanks

If you care more about the gear you use that the pictures you take, you have a problem:D
