Wow, nice shot. I like everything about it. DOF, her expression- she looks like she feels alone.

lovely shot. I agree with poster above..the only thing is the bokeh seems rather harsh.

    Great moody artistic portrait! clap.gif
Awesome example that sometimes even dead-center shots work! thumb.gif

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I think it's because the shrubbery on the right and the angle of her face create a strong leftward line. Works for me.

Is that actually bokeh, or is it PP? It is rather strong.

I'm down with it..... I like how ya framed her with the foreground brushes and the conversion looks AWESOME!

IMO, everything in this photo adds to her expression of being disconnected.

It is very strong indeed and looks harsh, too. Almost looks like a mirror lens is used. I'm really hesitant about it - it both adds and distracts... headscratch.gif

I guess different strokes for different folks, but i like the effect; it creates a striking contrast to the softness of the young lady.

In general, this lens (85/1,4) draws softly. Convertion in w\b has given such effect. I like it. Here, look at one more photo of the same model. Probably, this variant is pleasant more?
