last one - his grandma

Overall the 70-300 lens takes fairly decent portrait shots i think. I had my 50mm out as well, but will do some post to those first. these are SOOC

any thoughts / comments appreciated, I am trying to get some practice in before shooting my first portrait outing at the botanical gardens.

Your right 00SS, the Sig 70-300 has not failed you at all.
I love the second shot, the bokeh is pretty neat too,
it's also the sharpest of the three.

If these are your practise shots, then your on a good thing I'd say thumb.gif

Thanks Skippy, I of course will use mainly my 50 prime for the portrait shoot.. but I may end up with a few from this lens. It's def not the best (fastest) for wildlife shots.. but seems to work ok on people rolleyes1.gif
