Is there two much shadow ?
D50 - sig 70-300 @ 150mm f4.5 1/1250s iso200
but grandpa.. i didn't mean to knock over the tiki torch.. :rofl
last one - his grandma
Overall the 70-300 lens takes fairly decent portrait shots i think. I had my 50mm out as well, but will do some post to those first. these are SOOC
any thoughts / comments appreciated, I am trying to get some practice in before shooting my first portrait outing at the botanical gardens.

Your right 00SS, the Sig 70-300 has not failed you at all.
I love the second shot, the bokeh is pretty neat too,
it's also the sharpest of the three.
If these are your practise shots, then your on a good thing I'd say
