On Saturday we were about to go out when I hear the kids yell "FAWN!!!!"



Image is B & W because she had a wound on her hind leg (thigh), which probably explains why she didn't run when I stepped out on the front porch.

She stayed in that spot until my 7 year old came out with his camera. He probably got too close to her. I didn't see mom around anywhere. The fawn limped into our backyard and stopped and started licking the area of the wound. We had an appointment and had to leave. When we got home she wasn't there.

I chose B & W over color because of her injury to the back leg, it wasn't very nice to look at.
