I'm an amateur who shoots local racing mostly for fun and practice.
But, I'm starting to sell a few so I thought I'd post up some recent shots for comments.

Nice work on the panning shots. I also like the old Cougar. Keep at it.

If you are selling, watch the pole in the foreground, the cones etc.

    Love the Cougar!

The location is tough. The track has posts, cables, and track workers everywhere. You often have to make the best of whatever location you can get amongst the spectators. The light at the autocross events is always really hard. Lots of glare and lens flare. The drags are always low contrast and low light. Getting correct exposure and focus takes some work. Both are good practice.

In the first two, because its an autocross event, the cones are in the shot on purpose. The relationship between the car and the cones is an important part of the event. So, I try to keep them in the shot but not blocking important details. At the drags, the post was unavoidable, so I did my best to make the it as unintrusive as I could.

Thanks for the comments, the cougar was really nice.
That announcer was a PITA. He as always wandering around and ruined some otherwise good shots.
