After seeing such phenominal Eagle / Hawk photos I thought it about time I gave it a go, this is what I came up with, hope you approve.

    Thank you, shame we don't get them in the wild (not around the centre of London anyway) Would love to try for the natral fishing shots.

    Beautiful detail David. Yeah it's very time consuming finding their feeding areas. A nest nearby helps, as it gets more action in that area. And shutterspeed is the ultimate challenge for BIFs. Sometimes I move to Tv or Shutter and choose around 1/1600 sec to be sure of sharpness. And I have to up my exposure at least 1 stop, like 1.2. I get away with it with a teleconverter added too. The teleconverter makes for some slow shutterspeeds otherwise.
