My Attempt at 1/8000th Strobist Pool Shots at Night Concept

I've seen several of these shots that I like; so I tried my hand at it this weekend.

All these pool / strobist shots were at 1/8000th and ISO100, it was dark out which was helping us but the bright glossy wall was hurting us with it's reflections. Next time I'll probably bring a black sheet or something.

Here's a setup shot (umbrella high left at 1/128th), 2 sb600's bare, zoomed to 85mm instead of gridded, at 1/1, sb800 on camera, can't remember it's level, but most likely around 1/64th:

Quick 'results' shot - keep in mind I got in last night around 3 or 4am, didn't have a ton of time to work photoshop on these:

AndI have several of these that we tried, here's just one that I had a chance to upload:

C&C welcomed, or questions about the setup, suggestions for next time, etc.

That second shot is creepy (not saying that's bad, I like it!) And the third shot is killer.

Not really, but the setup shot above shows where I put the lights and at what power.

I basically just looked around strobist and flickr for some night-time pool shots and tried to see what all they did and set it up from there.
