Well i decided to visit Lahore to shoot two most popular mosques of Mughal period. I planned to reach 1st mosque before Dawn to get early morning light and 2nd at sunset. But i neglected the heat factor it was extremely hot !. I changed the plan and shot both mosque in 3 hours and got bus for Islamabad came back and enjoyed T20 worldcup final.
Here are photos of 1st mosque known as "Badshahi Mosque" or "King's mosque" it was largest mosque in the world when it was built now it's 5th largest in the world. It was built by Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. Read More about it at Wikipedia . Some of you may remeber this photo i shot last year it is same mosque from the fort.

I enjoyed the shoot but i will visit both mosques in winter. Due to heat i ended up shooting all photos handheld. And my tripod was already not feeling very well. All photos with 17-40L and 100mm macro on 400D. It took me 3 hours to shoot 12 hours in traveling !

Whatever you think of religion, you have to thank it for many of the most awe-inspiring structures throughout the world. These look serene and contemplative.

Excellent series and very well done (and you experimented with the rolling zoom... )
Your exposures were right on. That said, my favorite was the B&W doorways and the first shot of your last visit. Those towers at early or late light are very dramatic.
