I just got myself a SB900. Nice toy :clap

However, there's one thing I can't figure out and the manual isn't helping.

How do I adjust the flash EV setting while in Remote?

You have to do it from the camera menus if you're using the popup as a commander. It's kind of a drag to sift through menus but on the other hand it's sometimes much easier than doing it on the flash, especially if your light is mounted somewhere like on a high light stand, etc. Also once you do it a few times you can click through everything pretty fast and it's not such a hassle as it seems at first. To me it's worth it just to be able to do it from the camera. If you get an SU-800 or another SB900 or SB800 to use as a commander, then you can adjust your remotes from the commander unit without messing with the camera menus.

For just that reason (sifting through the menus), I throw the correct menu in "My Menu" for fast access.
