Can't figure out how to rename categories?

Hi, I tried going into "Tools" / "Go to Control Panel" / "Categories" and I do see a feature there to rename categories, but when I click on the drop down list to select a category, only 1 of my 6 categories appears in the drop down.
Is there another way to rename them? Or how do I get all six categories to show up in the drop down list?

You can only rename categories that you created yourself, not built-in Smugmug categories. If you want to change to a category name that is different than a built-in category name, you have to create a new category in the control panel and then change each gallery to be in the new category.

Yeah, they do share the same category names as the built-in ones.
