I have been struggling a bit with this theme, but I think my creative juices are starting to flow.

However, I would compress it down a little to make those rhombus look more square
(the diagonals - more equal)...

I concur -- my vote is definitely for #2 -- sharp, well composed, and quite interesting to look at.

on #2 you may try to clean up the shadows and give that silver some punch.
#4 was a very creative shot, and I just love that depth you gave it.. It would depend on how you processed that one...
#2 is definitely a strong contender

On the other hand I also like Numbers 4 or 5.
I like number 4 because the lighting is more even, but all the vines pull the eye away from the depth of the receding squares, a few vines could add interest but with so many the theme gets cluttered as you move back into the scene, number five is more open and pleasing as it draws the eye inward thru the squares but the stark shadow line down the middle bothers me..
nice catches none the less and some great ideas.
