You are looking at the core of Australian culture!

(Makes me lust for a Coopers Pale Ale in this land of no alcohol :slurp)

Shot with 40D and 24-70mm f2.8L

BTW Should I verticalise the verticals, or should I leave it the way it appears to a lot of the patrons?!rolleyes1.gif

What's the best way if you think I should?

    Thanks.

Very cool, Neil! Wonderfully sharp and nice, rich colors. Personally, I'd correct the vertical lines and make them as parallel as possible.
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap but memories are priceless.

Thanks, Mahesh! This pub is probably 80-90 years old, but could be older.

Would you use the ruler tool in PS, or something else?

EDIT: What am I saying, of course you wouldn't use the ruler tool! duh!

I would crop with the perspective option chosen.

out curiosity why would you suggest the perspective option chosen?
I didnt even know there was another way to perspective adjustment other than the perspective tool in free transform....

When you choose crop you can select the "perspective" option. If you do this, you won't have to resize the image later to get rid of the clear areas.

Both are equally damaging as both will distort the image.

Thanks, guys, for this good stuff.thumb.gif

I was thinking of using DxO geometrical.

I don't relish either way. I'm very possessive about my pixels!

It's not gonna worry me what happens here. But there are those who are sensitive to such matters (and with good reason, I acknowledge).

I'll take the pic to Finishing School if you think there's any value to anyone in that.
