first unread post...automatically?

How can I set things to take me to the first unread post in a thread *automatically*, rather than opening the thread to the first post and clicking on the button?

Been through the entire CP and don't see that feature.

    Click on the little icon to the left of the thread title. That will take you to the first unread post. If you have read all the posts, the icon does not appear.
