I was fascinated by another oil and water shot that I saw on SmugMug, so I thought I'd give it a try. For this experiment, I got my kids to help with mixing the food color, water, and oil. We tried several different colors in vases or small fish tanks that 566471887_XcGqp-L.jpgwere flat-sided glass. This one was my favorite. It's very scifi I think. You can also try putting various colored papers under the glass (think Pyrex lid for the glass) and see what you get.

Welcome to the Dgrin forum Fotomom clap.gif

I love this shot, I think it would make a really cool poster.
It's unique, an interesting shape, love the colours and the bubbles.

Nice work on the lighting of this subject too.
As you said it does look rather Sci-Fi, like a cut away version of something.

Excellent first post clap.gif :ivar please continue to share your work.

Thank you, and enjoy the forum thumb.gif ..... Skippy :D
