Slideshow problems

I have a couple of large galleries with 300+ photos. A lot of my customers go through this gallery, and often, after a few pages, decide to view everything as a slideshow.

The problem is that the slideshow always starts from the first photo in the gallery, and not the photo currently selected. On large galleries, this means they have to wait a long time to get back to where they were or scroll through several pages of filmstrip at the top to resume from where they were in the gallery.

Second related problem, sometimes, the slideshow only shows a certain number of photos. The photos towards the end of the gallery seem to be dropped off and are never shown nor appear in the filmstrip at the top. However, this seems to come and go. It was a problem a few weeks ago, but now appears OK.

Any suggestions?

As to the other question, I'm sorry, I don't have a way around it. I'll ask the engineers though!
