Taken at Newton Rocks, Narragansett, RI. Thought I was really gonna have a great sunset when I was on my way down to the shore to shoot, but got there and it was heavy overcast, when overland the clouds were broken, and I'm sure it was spectacular. I think this made up for it.

coscorrosa, do long exposures near the water, and don't be paranoid. If you're shooting digital, you have an unlimited amount of tries to get it right. Your not paranoid about your gear getting wet are you? I was perched on a huge boulder for this shot. Big enough for me, bag, and tripod to be setup on, probably a little smaller than the big one in the center of the shot in the foreground.
hawkeye978, I love the contrast too, and the movement was what I was going for, as the sky color didn't play out that day the way I thought it would. Blue "sunsets" like this give me time to experiment a bit, and this one worked out.
