A little story 1st.

I miss my grandkids :cry and this young lady helped me today.
After taking this shot we walked and talked about the birds and things around. I felt quite good sharing my limited knowledge, and her enthusiasm healed a wound in my heart, for now.

Anyway enough talk, here's the shot:

Oh yes this one had a bit deeper of a meaning, well to me at least. I do wish I could have gotten both bird and girl sharp but was not to be.

Good capture. I miss my grandkids too. I had fun taking my eldest granddaughter to the wetlands last year and showing her the wildlife.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Love that photo and story. My kids live pretty far away, so I can relate. No grandkids yet, but already know it will be hard living so far away.

    Great capture Ben.

A great BIF shot and a sad story
I'm so lucky I get to see my grandson usually twice a week. However, I'm job hunting and my free time may shrivel up and I'll have to be happy with an hour here and there. But at least he's less than an hour away.

Hi Dee sorry for the late reply, but good news after almost a year of no contact with them, my DIL sent me an email last night with a link to some snaps of my Grandkids. There are fine and living in Florida. I'm much more at ease now. If you or anyone would like to see them here's the link she sent:

    Talleen is the oldest (7)
    and Zoey is (6)
Don't know who that boy is, but he better be on his best behavior around my girls :D
Along with my new gear and this email "Somebody up there likes Me" thumb.gif
