When will Canon & Nikon companies make a consumer line of camera's that has both a film and a memstick slot?

So when you select which format you want to use you will be able to shoot film and or digital.

I really think they could be a big seller.

Where would the sensor go to get out of the path of the light heading for the film plane which would be behind the senor plane...which also causes a focusing problem due to the slight difference in distance(s) of the recording medium from the subject and back of the lens...........
this would bee no easy feat nor could you put it into anything smaller than probably a Mamiya RB 6x7 body.........headscratch.gifscratchheadscratch.gifeek7.gifhuheek7.gifne_nau.gifdunnone_nau.gif

How big is that body Art?

And how cool would it be to have a camera like that?

Well they could always just attach the one over the other! wings.gif

IMHO, not sure if we want to go backwards from this point on. I am sure the arguments where there when Color film was introduced. Time to move on to better technology that will get better and better.

    My two cents!

I don't think it would be a good seller at all. I think it probbaly could be done techincally but at huge cost and for very little benefit to them.
