Well the second one really- never got more than a glimpse of the first. As usual these hang up in the worst possible place for photography

Nice! He let you get close. did you have something to brace yourself on while hanging over him or was that all stomach muscles?

Great shots -- I love the angle and DOF of #3. And I've never noticed the curvature to the eye that you can see in #5 (not that I know much at all about dragonflies).

They're all stunning, but I think #5 takes the biscuit! Also, I admire the way they're sequenced (a good editor is as valuable as a good photographer! )
