Cragside is a National Trust property that used to be the family home of Lord Armstrong of Newcastle. The grounds are vast with small lakes scattered around. These are a few shots I took at one of them.

Nice job. thumb.gif This place looks very serene. Are there really no people around?

Thanks Ana. There were some people around, but I was there midweek and while you may be able to pick out some people on the opposite bank, they don't stand out. Also no swimming, boating etc allowed!

Beautiful scenery you have there, John! You should photograph it again during the golden hours. thumb.gif
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap but memories are priceless.

Would love to - unfortunately it closes down early and doesnt open until around 10am. But I agree it would add to the atmosphere a lot.
