Katydid and the drop.

Katydids and wasps are also bubble blowers. Theses shots show a very clear bubble and I've never seen a katydid blow the darker coloured versions. Might well be the diet. These feed on the lemon tree buds which make them great to watch. :wink

    Lovely shots (even with the USM)- never knew other insects do this trick as well!

    I didn't know that Katydids created bubbles as well???
    I found one about a month or two ago when I was watering near the drive way, I gotta pay more attention next time I find one :D

    Do all flies create bubbles as well? or only certain ones?
