2009 Pink Party (SF Pride weekend)

Schmoo and I took the afternoon to witness our first Pride weekend here in San Francisco yesterday.

We started the day off at the corner of Castro and Market.

We wandered down to Delores Park to catch the festivities there.

Heading back to the Castro they were setting up for the Pink Party.
Distracted while dealing with money? Not necessarily the best combination.

    And honestly, for me at least, a street party is a street party regardless of the reason for it :)

    Oh yeah, i forgot about Key West :D, but it's about 6-7 hour drive from here, nevertheless, we have visited October Fast last year, it was fantastic!!

    Wonderful set!! We were driving through NYC on our way home from Martha's Vineyard yesterday and caught some of it, but not able to stop to take photos...

    Thanks April! Yeah, we caught a couple of hours of the parade this morning also. I took WAY too many crappy pictures there. I'll probably go through those tonight or tomorrow. Just WAY too many images to cope with after this weekend rolleyes1.gif

    I looked at this again. What if you try a square crop on the right to lose the license plate?

    I found when I did that, that it looked like I simply missed the shot with chopping off his arm. With the van, and the person in the foreground, the van, and the people in the background show that it's a "Street" shot. IMHO that allows me a little more "leniency" in missing :P

    But thanks for the feed back, I really do appreciate it. Any help I can get I'll take.

    I saw plenty of it in St. Pete over the weekend. Probably not quite as many people as in San Francisco, but plenty enough to have a heck of a street party here thumb.gif
