Hey folks!

Well, I was asked to photograph a Change of Command the other day on base, and it marked the first time I ever covered one of these. Sooooo...I kinda shot on the fly for the event. Here are a few pics that I was happy with. More info on my blog, & the full set on my website in the Military gallery..

Thanks for looking, and C&C is always welcomed!

Thanks,

Adam

Yes! These tell the story very well. This one is a particularly effective compositions:

But I would prefer straight B&W to duotone:

It's a very strong image and duotone pulls the punch. Ditto for the last one.
    If not now, when?

Thanks for the feedback on that! I didn't think of that when applying the tone, but I think the standard B&W does well on it's own.

    Thanks again!

Wonderful series and wonderfully informative - thanks for a peek into a world that I never experience. I have a son just days away from being sworn into the Marines, so my eyes will be opened, I imagine, to more of this kind of scene. I'm sure my son's eyes will be opened at any rate!

    Best,
    Jon
