Where was this at. I'm going out to the Mississippi next week...maybe start at Clinton and work north from there. I've got the whole week so maybe I'll go as far as Trempealeau NWR. Just hoping for some decent weather.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. This was taken in the late afternoon so the lighting on the water along with the angle give it the unusual blue water.

This was taken in Monticello, MN. Only a few of the swans are still here from the winter.
If you're interested in getting some really great Trumpeter Swan shots you should consider coming up here in the winter. There's over 400+ swans on the river during December and January. Davev and I love to be your guide.:D
