Hi, I just got back from Yosemite, and got a few Infrared photos with my Sony V1. They are fascinating to do, and I wish I had more lake opportunities, but we had so much to see! Heres two and the link to my Infrared album:[I will post my regular album in landscape]
Thanks for looking, and input welcomed!

    Hi Linda,
Nice use of IR and good PP. I'm going to have to go there again some day (It's only a 3 hour drive from Reno). What a wonderful way to display Yosemite, I'll have to wait to see the rest. Gotta go see if I can get any shots at the Reno Rodeo tonight.

    Thanks for sharing,
    Chris

Thanks Chris, we are about 6 hours away from Yosemite, but my sister is 3 hours, so we started from there. Even the drive was nice. I wish I had a few more days there! The trees are sometimes a bit too busy for IR, so next time, I'll plan a trip to some lakes. Tioga pass wasn't open yet. You have so many photo ops between Reno and Yosemite! Lucky you!

Thanks Skippy, Nir and David. I look forward to more this summer. I took these pretty fast, and hope to try some on the lakes with a tripod.

    Hi Nancy,
Well, I guess it would be closer to 6+ hours if Tioga is still closed; I can wait. One of the places I want to shoot this summer is the sunrise over Mono Lake. From there, it just a hop, skip and jump into Yosemite. If you're not familiar with Mono Lake, do a Google picture search on "Mono Lake" and you'll see what I mean. Bodi Ghost Town is right there too, very photogenic.

    Cheers,
    Chris

Chris, we used to drive to Mammoth every weekend, so I am somewhat familiar with mono lake area. No pictures tho! Sounds great, I havn't been up there in years and might try talking the husband into going that direction.

    Looking forward to your photos.:):
