All image sizes not available when logged in?

I have a pre-set configuration I use for my galleries that includes restricting the largest viewable image size. In the past, I was quite certain that this restriction did not affect my ability to access all of the sizes when logged into my account. However, now the restriction affects me as well and I can only access larger photo sizes if I temporarily remove the restriction.

Is this a bug?

That's too bad. Am I correct that it used to work differently, or is my memory failing me?

Is it possible to add a separate link for downloading the original that only shows up for the owner?

That's already available. If you're logged in, when you hover over the photo to get the info box, there is an Owner save.

Thanks - I totally forgot about that - I rarely use the pop-up menu.
