Thank you everyone. I appreciate your comments. I tried many compositions, e.g., trying to include everyone (lack details), isolate one person-- but this one works best to capture the haunting expressions of a group of soldiers.
Linda and Skippy, thank you for the kind words. With the tiny LCD of the G6, I couldn't tell whether it had a good focus and captured the details until I got home to upload the images to the computer. This time, I was lucky.
