My friend Vic travels a lot for work so when we got to catch up yesterday I made him pose for the camera...

Natural light diffused by white shade... good, bad, indifferent?

pose 1: I don't want to do this, but go ahead

pose 2: Hey this is fun

pose 3: OK, that's enough

I must disagree with Qarik here. I don't like them at all :cry (sorry)

The blue background is too "passport photo" style, and on my monitor none of the images seem to be in focus. Another thing I may have tried to adjust in PP, was the yellowing of the teeth. I wouldn't like to see them overly processed and stark white as that is not natural, but they do seem overly yellowed on my monitor.

If this is not the case please tell me, so I can calibrate color!!!

Thanks for the perspective and critic, I appreciate it!

Concerning the focus, I did use the largest aperture I had, to use available light, so there is a shallow depth of field focused at the eyes which should have most of the face in focus. I know because of this his nose is out of focus though.

And I'll take care to do some touch up on the teeth!

    thanks!!
