I was in the dark room today, And I've chard about 8 pieces printing paper, It sucks, I can make contact sheets, test prints, but when it comes time to make the actual print, It's all chard.

I'm wasting paper, and I'm not accomplishing much

All of this and I've finally got my development process down.

if you are using an 8x10 easle..cut some poster board to make 8-10 small rectangles to cover the paper....load your paper....now run a test with each postion being a different time...record your times either on the exact spot it is printed or on another piece of paper with the spots drawn out.....one test should get you the time for your exposure....when you run a test like this the neg your printing is in the holder and focused for makeing an 8x10.....

Thanks Art, That's why she tells us to do a test print with the pie chart, I'm just thinking I'm using something wrong.
