Early days with the Bigma...

Greetings,
This is Max @ 500mm, of course he moved just as I shot but I still like how the image turned out. I was on the deck testing the bigma with the Jobu Jr 2 gimbal and hadn't planned on shooting at all, hence the slow shutter speed. And I'm pretty sure the vibration from the wood deck contributed to the softness. Highly recommend this gimbal :bow
"Ha, ha, you can't see me.."
A head shot at 290mm, pretty pleased with the IQ.
Just for fun... Max the guard dog.
"Back off or I'll Attack"
And finally, freed up some time to take a short drive around the block. I must have spent twenty minutes waiting for this horse to turn around, finally took what I could get
Cheers, Don

@ 500mm, full frame resized.
+ ec 20 = 1000mm, full frame resized.
This showed me how important a stable shooting platform is at this focal length, first shot was on a wood deck with moderate wind. I actually had to stand very still for the image to stabilize before shooting. For the 1000mm shot I had to move to the ground.

Not that impressed with the IQ of the moon shots but it's early days and for now I'll chalk it up to operator error and/or a warm and not 100% clear night
