Good Morning Sparrow!

I'm still learning how to use this Nikon 400mm Ai-S lens. It's an older, non-CPU lens with manual focus. I used a Nikon 1.4TC with it for these shots yesterday morning.

    I like the first one; nice detail and coloring. Makes an ordinary sparrow look beautiful!

    All 3 are outstanding Jeff. clap.gif These little ones are so tough to get this kind of IQ. That glass is working for you.

    Thanks, Dan. I'm using an older manual focus f3.5 Nikon 400 mm (Ai-S) with a Nikon 1.4x TC. The glass is very nice. I'm really impressed with it. The challenge is to get the focus right with the shallow depth of field. And as you know, this guys jitter around all the time.

    Looks to me like you've got the hang of it already Jeff. I agree with everyone else about the first shot. Very nicely detailed.....and colorful for a sparrow. :D
