How to do this using Photoshop Elements 7

I am using photshop elements 7. The shot I am working on I is of a dancer on stage. I selected her with the quick selection tool and then hit inverse. I then blurred the background to my liking. I then came back to her and sharpened only her. I now would like to make her pop off the page a bit. How can I add drop shadows and the type of effects that you can when one is working with the text style selecton. Is there a set of tools like that for images rather than text? Thanks
