Floral Closeups

Playing around with doing something different with floral photos. I am trying to brak away from the usual pictures that I have done in the past. What do you think?

    The first one is my fave! It reminds me of sheets flapping in the wind! Nice detail...beautiful!

    These are beautiful!

    On the second one, the front petal area of blur is distracting. I love your compositions.

    That is where the depth of field got me. My focal point when I took the photo was actually on a small spider perched on a petal further back on the rose. It was later that I started cropping to get just the play on shapes and colors.
