How People Find Pics of Themselves On Smugmug

I have a question for all those who shoot events and then sell photos to the participants. How do you tag/caption your photos in smugmug so that each individual can easily find themselves? Right now, I tag each photo with the player's first name last name, and I enabled the Top Keywords cloud on my homepage, but is there more I should be doing?

Does anyone have any best practices?

Last time we shot an event, my partner placed a search feature within our smugmug site. We would tag each photo with the name & jersey #. Worked very well.
