i was mainly handholding my Nikon 500 F4VR. I occasionally switched to the 70-200 with the 1.7x teleconverter.

thanks Glenn, its always great to be out shooting Puffins on the Farne Islands. From May to the end of July they bread here in a colony of about 45,000 to 70,000 strong.
