Images not "turned on"/site times out using custom hostname page

Hi all,

Newbie member here...I'm on a 7 day trial... love using smugmug as it really seems to be working for what i'm looking for...

however, i'm having one problem that i can't seem to figure out.:scratch

I have my smugmug page going to a custom hostname (gallery.pilotfamilies.com)....had created it via cname and all that jazz, so far, it shows up on my gallery page just fine.

the only thing is that when i go to enter as a "guest" thru my gallery address, none of the images are showing (i have the dreaded red "x"'s) and then when i go to enter into a gallery - it seems to take a long time and/or times out... I have both unpassword protected and password protected galleries within my smugmug and i'm wondering if it's a problem with that or what the problem might be?:dunno
