1.These are some shots from the 25th Anniversary Michigan (Howell) Challenge hot air balloon competition. This was a three day event, that started last Friday. Had great weather, and was able to get 3 of the 5 launches off. C&C away, like to improve skills.

    I like #2 and #3 best. #2 is just a wonderful capture. On #3, I wonder if the blue in the sky can be increased (maybe by lowering brightness? -- my post processing skills are very underdeveloped) to complement the deep blues in the balloon.

    Nothing beats the timing of #6, I always enjoy watching them as they float on by, but you can't beat the morning burn for take-off as they are always spectacular!
