Good Morning,

Finished up a family session this week. Started doing more of these and am looking for some overall feedback. The album is still locked so these are just a few examples (shown with permission of course).

Thanks,

Joey

    Hey Joey,

My favorite is the B&W in the tunnel: nicely lit, balanced composition, great expression, nice OOF context in the background. The last pic captures a great fun moment between mom and son, though the blown highlights in the hair are a bit distracting for me. Also would've liked to see the whole lower leg.

The first one is a bit flat and underexposed it seems, would be easy to clean up in post though with some of the pop tutorials on dgrin.smugmug.com. For me the water fountain shot is too tight and perhaps too contrasty?

Looks like you have great rapport with family and are catching some fun moments. I'm starting to do a few myself but haven't gotten permission to share them yet.

The B&W is the pick of the litter IMO, I wonder how the fountain shot would look converted?????
