A view through my Garden Window..

A pictorial of the story of new life and nature

About a week and half ago while Jeanne was watering the hanging plants a little bird flew out of it. Then a few days later it happened again so we looked into the plant hanger and found…

A house sparrow had built a nest, no wonder she was so agitated at the plant being sprayed with water!

Here she is sitting on the nest..

Day 6 really starting to become active during the day..

Day 7 today July3
Amazing how fast they are growing, now their eyes are completely open during the day and demanding food, and even preening their feathers.. pretty kool to watch it all happen..

update on species, I have been informed they may actually be song sparrows not house (or English) sparrows based on the markings above the eyes, i.e. the white streak.

I will load more pictures as the babies mature..

That would be fun to watch. thumb.gif Nice images Jeffry and I agree that it appears to be a song sparrow.
