Lightning

Some lightning shots from last night.

I was trying out the Sigma 10-20mm's usefulness for night time lightning last night and sadly it doesn't do so well there. In order to stop blowout you have to tighten it down to the point you are not picking up anything else. I guess the ole 50mm will have to keep its status as my main lightning lens for now.

    Jim;

    Great images! Also those in your gallery. Are you using a light trigger to capture your lightning images?

    No I am using bulb. I have heard that often the lightning trigger misses all the stepping leaders and such and that is most of the picture.
