Morning above Santa Barbara

Marc and Tom convinced me to get up way to early (2:30 am :twitch !!!) two weeks ago to catch the sunrise. Most of the shots I like were from some flowers we saw later but here is one I liked a little.

    Amazing colors, Phil! I love the rays beaming up subtly from the horizon. I may be tempted to crop some of the sky out and recover a tiny bit of shadow detail from the FG.
    Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap but memories are priceless.

    thapamd, your right a pano crop would help this (and it needs a lot of help).
    Schmoo, I had to get up that early to make it to Goleta to meet Marc and Tom at 4am. The drive up was better than 30mins. No that's not fog its always sunny and 70 in Santa Barbara :D.
