A wider angle

[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]Ever since I got my MP-E65mm I have had a tendency to go for the "Poke them in the eye" shots. Today I thought I would try to pull it back a bit...When I got my 40D it cam with the Canon EF 28-135mm macro f/3.5-5.6 IS. Well, I took that out of the box, tossed it to my wife for her camera and slapped on one of my L lenses. This morning I took it out of her bag and used it for the first time. It took some getting used to but it really did not preform that bad.

Wonderful series. - Always good to get some more environmental type shots. - esp like #2 & #7.

Pity in some ways that there is not a zoom macro in the 0.5:1 to 3:1 range (this is the range you get if you reverse a kit lens onto the camera body)

Thanks Brian, I must say, that kit lens I tested out did pretty good. My 200 L with tubes do better but we must leave our comfort zone from time to time.
