Okay, i'm really new at this and this is my first try at a self portrait. It wasn't planned and was taken with my Nikon Coolpix and edited with Microsoft Photo Editor. Critique welcome.

    Shooting subjects with glasses on is tricky, much less on your own. I would recommend actually looking through your glasses, rather than over them......

    Being that it was shot with a coolpix, I see no need to comment on the quality of the picture thumb.gif

    Nice job! I get a sense of your personality. I am not sure if I will ever attempt this!

    Self portraits are SO hard. I'd been participating here for months before I finally got any I felt good about posting.

    I would crop this a little closer with less room at the top.

    SP's = P.I.T.A.

    This isn't a bad one IMO, considering the tools used to capture.
    Now how about showing us one that IS planned/thought out?

    Please.... mwink.gif

    thanks. i have a couple of shots without my glasses but i didn't think they were quite as good. i'm going to try this again only this time i think i'll actually use my tripod. (and yes, the reason i didn't use it last time is because i'm lazy!)

    Hubba, Hubba.

    Nice SP. These can be tough, but you did a nice job here even with glasses!
