Photos in Virtual (Cross-Gallery) Collections

Right now, every image needs to be accessioned in a single gallery, or a subcategory within a gallery. Is there a way to build cross-gallery collections?

In other words, while a particular image needs to live in a particular gallery, is it possible to link to it or include it virtually/symbolically in other aggregations of images?

This would be a greatly desired feature, especially in conjunction with tools such as the slide show that require a single gallery for input.

For example, I would place an image of a rattlesnake in a "Wildlife Portrait/Snakes" gallery, but would like it to appear in a "Desert" collection, a "New Photos 2009" collection, or "Backpacking Trip Summer 2009" collection as well. I would like to be able to provide links to these virtual collections of photos to friends or other websites, as well as direct the smugmug slideshow to this.

Thanks.

You can assign keywords to accomplish this. Example, add the keyword
Desert to all photos for the Desert gallery then use this link.

    http://nickname.smugmug.com/keyword/Desert

This will show a gallery with every photo with that keyword.

Add these two keywords and photo will show in both galleries.
    "New Photos 2009" Desert

or for three galleries to show in.
"Backpacking Trip Summer 2009" "New Photos 2009" Desert
