I spent some time at the wildlife refuge today. Cloudy, rainy day and much cooler than it had been. Nice to get out there without the heat

We have some that stay year round. They know they have it good here. These sat right on the side of the road for me. They are used to cars going by as long as you don't get close or try to open a door. When they have their babies they are a bit more skittish, though I did get some last year of the young ones. I caught sight of them this year but the roads were flooded and I couldn't get to them.

I really like that first capture. The white snowy against the black water is striking. Have you tried to clone out the distracting vegetation in the lower left of the frame?

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Hadn't even thought of it. I will give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion.

I am not the best at PP, but I forget what a difference just a little work can make. Thanks again Harry!

I'm going to try to work around his feet a little more, but I am afraid that is something I will mess up. :D
