I caught these guys in the evening 2 days ago. Is this shot boring and too typical, or what's the consensus? =) thanks for looking.

I don't think any shot is too boring or typical. It's what the photographer sees or what has caught their interest at the moment they click the shutter . For me in this picture though, the birds are second thought. My interest, for some reason, is on that fountain. ne_nau.gif Just my thoughts and I know very little about photography. :D

Since you asked, I hope someone else chips in.

I would try a closer crop if the image will hold up to the crop. The capture is very well exposed and the scene does draw the viewers eye towards the birds. I may be biased but it was the birds and not the fountain that caught my interest.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks guys. I really appreciate the feedback, more than you know. I happen to love this fountain and the birds actually showed up when I was photoing it. :)
