Question about these flash triggers..

Since the transmitter appears to have a PC sync port, can the transmitter be triggered through the cameras PC port?

What I am thinking is being able to use my on camera flash AND an off camera flash triggered by the wireless triggers...

Is it possible?

    I have very similar looking units marked "RF616" that have a 1/8th" mini connector and then a cord to connect that port to a camera's PC connector for those cameras that lack a hot shoe.

    Anyway, for a camera that has both a hot shoe and a PC port, you could indeed trigger an on-camera external flash and the radio master simultaneously. (I have not specifically tested mine to make sure that the PC connection actually works however.)

    These transmitters do seem somewhat directional so orienting the master/trigger might be required for proper operation and greatest distance to the receiver(s).
