    Yeah, it was in my hand. Just a wee grass spider. I wish I had not gotten the lens shadow in the lower part of the pic though.

    Here is a little St Andrews Cross we had as a house guest a couple of autumns ago. She stayed with us for a couple of months.

    Lovely looking spider that one!

    Just as a coincidence I took some pics of a spider yesterday. I rescued this from one of my water butts and it was the biggest spider I'd seen "in the wild" - remember I live in the UK. The body was 22mm long. It's just a house spider.
