Anyone have any experience with point and shoots that have good high ISO capability (and good image quality)? I'd like to leave my DSLR's at home sometimes.

I'm leaning towards a Panasonic LX3 right now, but a G10 might also be a possibility since it would be easier and quicker to purchase. I might have to put my unused Olympus E520 on the market to fund it though.

I'm rather happy with the FujiFilm F40fd in low light, high-ISO situations. The newer F200EXR gets pretty good reviews and has a better lens.

The Canon G10 is a lot of things but I don't think that the high-ISO performance is that great. It does work nicely with appropriate use of flash.

From my research teh LX3 is best in class iso. I's zoom is wider but shorter then the G10 and image quality appears similar between those at lower isos.

I always liked those Fuji F40's. My local Best Buy store had them for a while but Theirs were F40SE's, I could never find out what the difference was, since the SE had face detection also.

I'll look into that F200EXR. The LK3 is still on the top of the list though, unless I can find something decent used first.
