I shot this one tonight from Kerry Park. The clouds were hovering over the skyline which was perfect, as they served as natural neutral density filters on the full moon. Enjoy!

Beautiful as always Mahesh. I like the contrast between the light on the Space Needle and the glow from the Moon in the clouds.

This is very nice, were the clouds moving or still enough that you could do a long exposure?

Nice. Ok I need to make it over to Kerry Park real soon. Seattle is across the water from me and everytime I see one of your Seattle shots I kick myself for not grabbing the ferry and heading over there at the earliest opportunity. Great capture.

The clouds and moon really make this photo, great job.

Looks like you shot from the right (west) side of the park :D

Sweet pic. Love the moon and skyline.

You could crop the bright deal on the bottom right? Even with it, I love the shot. clap.gif

Very cool shot and very well exposed. bowdown.gif

I would crop out the lights in the bottom right though to isolate the space needle and the clouds. Just a thought though.

Sweet, so what was your expo time?

Thanks, Aaron! Exposure time was 4 seconds for the dark buildings and 1/4 second for the moon

Thanks, Tharhawk! I debated doing a crop as you suggested, but I wanted to retain the green top of the Mariners' stadium.

Thanks, Aaron. I thought about that as well, but wanted to retain the green structure to the right.

Yes, it packs a wallop! (Don't know if you understand that lingo?!)

Both ethereal, and bright and sharp as glass, black glass.

Shows how you need a 400 if you want real moon, yes?
